Electronic RFP Sample
APES/INFORequestor produces an electronic RFI/RFQ/RFP (RFx) that requires no other software to be installed before a vendor can use it to repond. This makes it very easy to distribute an RFx on CD, as an email attachment, or by letting vendors download it from an FTP site on the Web.
Each electronic RFx also provides complete vendor input validation that is specified by you. For example, if you just want a Yes/No answer you can set the RFx to accept just Y or N, and prevent evasive answers such as "In the Fourth Quarter" from being entered. You can define any number of custom "drop down" lists of possible answers, ranging from Yes/No to Multiple Choice to free-form text Memo answers. A sample of what a vendor might see when responding to an electronic RFx is shown below.
In this example, the vendor must respond by selecting either Supported, Partially Supported, Not Supported, Paid Enhancement, or NC (No Charge) Enhancement. This type of response matrix is ideal for software selection because it quickly highlights where a proposes software system is strong and weak, and where the costs are being incurred. In the above example, all the vendor must do is click on the desired response to highlight it and it is selected as shown below.
When a vendor is through with his or her response they simply select the folder it is in, then click one button to place the entire response into a compact file format that can placed on a CD, or emailed, back to you.
