APES/INFORequestor can generate electronic RFP/RFI/RFQ (RFx) questions that require a vendor to respond with a detailed explanation. This can be used to acquire almost any type of detail information you might need to nake the best decision. A common use is to obtain a vendor clarification as to why their product does or does not have a specific capability, and what work-arounds are available. When used in this way, you can obtain information very important as to how well a proposed product can be used in your business environment. As the screen below shows, a vendor is essentailly given a "blank" memo field in which to enter a response:

You now have a Detailed record of exactly what a vendor is proposing in the way of services or goods. This makes for an excellent contract addendum!
